*Doors at 5:00PM*
Program starts at 6:00 pm
On June 18th, from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Transpecos we’re activating BODYTECH. An evening of wellness-focused, body-based practices across three activations centering breathwork, somatic flow, and sound bath) designed to support nervous system regulation, reconnection to self, and accessible healing modalities.
Somatic Flow led by Bri Rose is a breath work activation intentionally created to ease the nervous system by making space for individuals to meditate, move, and connect with their bodies & intuition. There will be ambient & R&B music and intuitive movements & breathwork. This practice creates environments that feel culturally grounded, affirming, and relational rather than extractive or clinical. Anxiety, burnout, and emotional overload are common realities. Breathwork, movement, and somatic practices offer tools for regulation, resilience, and self-soothing that people can carry beyond the session.
Soundbath for Release is a meditative guided soundbath and breathwork class held by Mila Gama. Mila is a yoga and Pilates instructor, Reiki Level III practitioner, sound healer, meditation teacher, DJ, and photographer born in Lima, Peru, and based in Miami. This class will allow for people to develop presence and reconnection with self, which later on will allow for them to develop creativity and overall more openness in their daily lives. As a nightlife worker as well as a healer her work explores the intersections of musical and spiritual healing.
Internatech led By Star Mitchell invites participants to explore the systems they are currently carrying in their bodies through reflection, somatic inquiry, and collective movement. Beginning with a guided reflection prompt and somatic body scan, participants will investigate areas of tension, ease, resistance, and flow, uncovering insights about the patterns and rhythms shaping their lived experience. Drawing from these discoveries, they will engage in a synchronized movement practice anchored in breath and collective rhythm, exploring how individual bodies contribute to and are influenced by shared systems. Participants will then create short movement phrases inspired by points of tension or inquiry revealed in the body scan, weaving them together into a collaborative movement meditation. Through this process, participants will deepen their connection to their own internal technology and leave with an embodied practice they can return to beyond the workshop.
